I am passionate about supporting people who want to reconnect with joy in their lives. My practice is rooted in the knowledge that many symptoms are coping mechanisms that helped us to get through past pain. There is another way forward – a way that breaks the patterns of old survival strategies and allows us more choice, more peace, and more relief. Whatever it is that you are facing, I can offer a warm and nonjudgmental space for you to process what hurts and move toward healing. Through our work together, we will write a new story that will support you to experience life in the way you hope to.
I am a collaborative and trauma-informed therapist who emphasizes mindfulness, emotion, attachment, and self-compassion. As a queer non-binary practitioner, I approach this work with an awareness of the ways that power and oppression impact our mental health. At the same time, I recognize that our cultural identities are points of pride and celebration.
If you are ready for something to shift, I am here. Together we’ll chart a course forward - one that brings happier relationships, skills that make the hard days a little softer, and a greater sense of fulfillment. Reaching out for support is a courageous act. It would be an honour to walk alongside you in your journey. I look forward to meeting you!
