Announcement icon All of my sessions are now offered online or by phone during COVID-19. Please book online or contact me if you need help.
The decision to start therapy takes a lot of courage. As a therapist with over 20 years’ experience, I have been honored to help people navigate significant life changes and find emotional balance in life. Whether you are recovering from trauma, navigating loss, or healing difficult relationships, I provide a safe and confidential space to support you on your healing journey. I believe that healing from mental health problems requires cultivating a compassionate attitude towards self as well as learning practical strategies to manage challenging emotions. Therapy can be a gateway to leading a better life and seeing possibilities.
I use an integrative, trauma informed approach and combine somatic therapies for healing body and mind. I am trained in EMDR, neurofeedback, sensorimotor psychotherapy, CBT and MBCT. As an experienced mindfulness practitioner, I use a lens of Buddhist psychology to inform my practice. I love working with women in life transitions and leadership positions.
I appreciate that starting therapy can be intimidating and many people often seek out a therapist at a time when they are feeling vulnerable. My goal is to make this process simple and straightforward. Please feel free to reach out for an initial 15 minute phone consultation. I would be happy to discuss your needs and see if we would be a good fit.

Mindfulness Training for Emotional Resilience

MTER is a 4-week group that teaches emotion regulation skills through psycho-education and mindfulness practice. Mindfulness is a practice and a skill that is useful for many aspects of our lives and teaches us to be engaged with the present moment in all that comes our way. Participants will be introduced to different mindfulness practices that help surf the waves of overwhelming emotions. The group will learn how mindfulness can help regulate emotions and positively influence neural connections in the brain. The group will run on Wednesday Feb. 5 to Feb. 25, 2020 from 6 - 8 pm
