I work collaboratively with individual clients, families, and couples to support the unique needs and goals of each client. I place the safety of my clients first and foremost. Working from a strengths-based perspective, I help clients build from current strengths while also working to provide clients with new skills. Anxiety and depression are areas I commonly work to support clients with. Additionally, some clients choose to work through past trauma. Creating a calm and welcoming space to learn about my clients goals for therapy, I often start with building healthy coping resources and skills that clients can use in their everyday life. Clients often decide to work through past experiences as well, through the use of EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy).
Living in the Sea-to-Sky corridor is a unique experience. I bring a combination of evidenced-based psychological therapies, lived experience, and holding a non-judgmental and welcoming space for my clients. I am always excited to start work with a new client and look forward to seeing if we are a good fit.
