About
Known for being a compassionate and insightful mental professional with a diverse background delivering career counselling, psychotherapy and leadership advising & coaching. My work has been with adults in a variety of mental health, well-being and career focused issues. Work and life transition has been a central theme to my career, having worked in social work, first responder and military therapy, and career counselling sectors.
I have lived throughout Canada, abroad, and actively travel to increase my understanding of different cultures and the universal components of attaining overall well being and a strong sense of self. My personal and professional experiences help me to connect with a broad rage of clients and their unique needs and experiences.
I work in collaboration with clients, fostering a sense of self agency through the therapeutic process. I am theoretically grounded in Cognitive- Behavioural (CBT), Acceptance and Compassion (ACT) & Attachment orientations. These theories speak to my understanding of therapy as goal focused, participatory, and an interactive process.
