We often minimize our own experiences, needs or desires and "push through" because we think we should. These learned patterns were likely established as important coping mechanisms, but may now be leading to a diminishing quality of life and additional suffering. I support clients who have begun to feel "stuck", overwhelmed or disengaged with life to work with these response patterns with empathy and understanding to foster healing and empowerment. I will assist you in working towards healing and taking control of your life while supporting you in accessing a deeper, more satisfying connection to yourself, your world, and others.
I offer a nonjudgmental, empathetic space and take a person-centered, and embodied approach to therapy, focusing on your unique values, challenges, and goals. In addition to my therapy training, I also specialize in Trauma-Informed Yoga and Meditation that can further assist with nervous system regulation, self-awareness, and equanimity, if desired.
