There is nothing you can endure, or do, that places you beyond human dignity, love and care. Therapy with me is a collaborative and compassionate space. We take a pause from the busyness of everyday life to slow down and gently explore what is alive for you in the present moment. You will feel supported as we become curious about your experiences and let go of judgment. This makes space for the complexity, multiple truths, and contradictions that can coexist within you - often creating enormous tension between your inner and outer life. We will work to help you feel at home with yourself and in your world.
Being a Black therapist, longtime meditator, and immigrant having lived in several cultures, my lived experiences have developed my ability to honour people’s unique cultural contexts, histories and unique life paths. I am drawn to work with people who are feeling unsettled, stuck, struggling in their relationships with others or with aspects of themselves.
Life's challenges rarely present in simple or linear ways. I see healing as an ongoing process of gradually expanding our capacity to meet life’s challenges with greater understanding, flexibility, and self-compassion. We’ll work toward meaningful, lasting changes that continue to support you long after our time together.
