I am compassionate and strive to develop a solid therapeutic relationship with clients to support them in establishing desired outcomes. I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and young adults who have been impacted by various concerns and changes in their environment that include: school engagement, family changes, loss and grief, and peer and relationship challenges. I facilitate creating a safe environment for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions. I encourage clients to develop coping skills and become aware of their strengths, skills, and abilities to facilitate change.
My skill set is working with clients who have struggled with various emotional and behavioral challenges, including anger, depression, anxiety, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), social skills, self-esteem, emotional regulation, self-harm, and suicide ideation. I establish a supportive relationship with my clients to improve their well- being.
My client-centered and strengths-based approach supports establishing a collaborative working relationship with clients.
