Clients often come to me feeling stuck. This can show up in their relationships, work, daily life, or even in their own thoughts. My goal is to help you get “un-stuck”. I work with individuals to sort through what’s holding them back in life and build new habits. I work with couples who have found themselves feeling more like roommates than romantic partners and we work to rebuild their sense of intimacy and connection. I work with parents and children to navigate big emotions and challenging behaviors, building skills that foster stronger, more connected relationships at home. Finally, I support women through the perinatal period.
You can expect thoughtful listening, curiosity, reflection, and gentle challenges that help you grow. I place an emphasis on building a safe, supportive relationship with my clients so that they feel safe to explore the parts of life that are feeling heavy. Together, we make sense of what’s been happening, and we set goals to work toward at your pace.
Beginning therapy can feel intimidating, but I work to make it as non-threatening as possible. I see you as the expert on your own life, and I’ll follow your lead of where you want to go and what feels important to talk about. I want to help you find your strengths and use them to build resilience and this happens through a collaborative relationship.
