I am a registered clinical social worker (BSW, MSW, RSW) and psychotherapist offering in-person counselling to clients in the Treaty 3 Territory, Kenora and virtually throughout Ontario. I have 15 years of experience working as a therapist and 44 years of my own life experiences. This time has taught me about human suffering, as well as the innate wisdom and resilience that humans carry within themselves. Whether you are in a season of life that is just hard or overwhelmed by difficulty from the past, I can support you to ride the waves of life with more skill, awareness, and compassion.
I offer a multidisciplinary approach to therapy that is trauma-informed and includes cognitive therapies, mindful self-compassion, attachment theories, tapping into your strengths, and a variety of somatic interventions that address the body, nervous system, and spirit. I believe that a big part of my job is to walk people back home to themselves.
