I offer therapy that draws from psychoanalytic and dynamic traditions. Our sessions together will explore the questions, difficulties, and significant experiences that you encounter in life—in your relationships, at work, or in moments when no one else is watching—with the aim of providing insight and fostering personal growth. Whether you’re in the midst of a painful crisis now or just looking for some insights into your unique responses to life, psychoanalytic therapy provides a powerful lens to help you understand where you are and find a path forward.
The therapeutic modalities that I work with may help reduce distress, improve self-awareness, provide a rejuvenated sense of purpose, enable fuller self-expression, and/or enhance capacity to engage in valued relationships. I have some specialized experience working with grief, anxiety, chronic pain/disability, and other somatic issues.
In addition to my education in counselling psychology, I've studied literature/philosophy, copyediting, and music. I also taught university courses on analytical psychology. I maintain a great love for the arts, and I’m always happy to include clients’ creative practices in our work together. I hope to have the pleasure and privilege of getting to know you.
