TAKING NEW CLIENTS--www.drkarinepaquin.ca-- I am a clinical psychologist, member of the Ordre des Psychologues du Québec. Despite a marked preference for the approach of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), I use an integrative approach borrowing techniques of cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and humanism. I can see both couples and individuals. I have very active, interactive approach.

I specialize and have extensive experience in the treatment of sexual disorders and anxiety disorders and I'm used to work with more atypical individuals like those with ADHD and/giftedness. I also work with individuals wanting to improve their self-esteem, better understand and manage their emotions and work on their sense of self and their identity.

I use an integrative approach where transparency, authenticity and client-therapist collaboration are paramount.
