I have a gentle yet directive approach utilizing psychotherapy in a variety of modalities of which includes trauma informed practices, cognitive behavioural therapies, mindfulness, visualizations, dialectical behaviour therapies, strength & solution based interventions. My objectives foster self-reflection, healing, self discovery, growth & transformation to inner peace in a safe and comforting space.
I have a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology from UBC. I work as a teacher in the public schools system since 2001. My training and credentials are in trauma, anxiety, depression, and anger management issues. Also, with athlete and test performance, school anxiety, self-esteem, youth gangs, self-harm, bullying, substance use, and peer related issues.
