I support teens and adults as they move through life transitions, such as starting university or a new job, becoming a parent or grandparent, navigating relationship changes, or questioning who they are becoming. These experiences can bring anxiety, low mood, self-doubt, old wounds, or a quiet sense that something needs care.

So many parents feel blindsided by how differently parenting feels than what they expected - we are told that we will be exhausted, but filled with joy. And while there may be joy, we also often experience feelings of grief, resentment, helplessness and rage. We are confronted by the limits of our control in so many ways, and are more consumed with worry for our child and getting everything just right than we could have ever imagined. Our relationship with our partner may feel foreign and hard, and the ways that we would normally care for ourselves feel out of reach. Many wonder, should it be this hard? Am I not cut out for this?

In this life, there are many seasons. Some seasons are filled with joy and fulfillment, while others are filled with pain, grief, anger, loss, anxiety and confusion. In the difficult times, the presence of another can make our pain more bearable. Someone coming alongside us can lend us the courage and capacity we need to find our way. I consider it one of my life's greatest privileges to meet people where they are at and help them move toward the health and well being they seek. I desire to create a safe and relational space where my goal is to listen well, be an encouragement and a resource to help you attain your desired goals.

You may feel anxious, emotionally stuck, or frustrated that the same patterns keep repeating in your life or relationships. Even with insight and self-awareness, you might still struggle with self-esteem, people-pleasing, or feeling unsure of who you really are. You may be tired of overthinking, carrying old emotional weight, or feeling disconnected from your confidence and direction. If things feel stagnant or unsustainable, you may be ready for therapy that brings both clarity and real change.

Life is full of challenges. We don't always have a choice what challenges we face. But we can choose how we view or overcome these challenges. I believe that we each have our own reserve of resilience waiting to be tapped into. Most of the time we have the strength to face these challenges. Sometimes we reach out to our friends and family for support and that is all we need. At other times, these challenges can overwhelm us and our system of support. We feel alone and helpless. When you are ready for change, let me support you in embracing your challenges and turn them into opportunities to learn something new about yourself.

IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITY - that there is a way to think differently; to feel differently; to live differently. Within each of us, we possess the tools we need to heal & be happy. But sometimes we make unhealthy choices in order to cope with emotional &/or physical pain. Despite our best intentions we can spiral downward, negatively impacting our relationships, careers, physical health & lifestyle. I believe that with support, change can happen. I am registered with a Master of Social Work & over 30yrs of clinical experience in the areas of trauma, addictions, anxiety, depression, grief/loss, parenting, life transitions & mindfulness.

Thank you for visiting my profile. Perhaps you are moving through a difficult season of life, carrying grief, anxiety, stress, exhaustion, or a deep sense of uncertainty. You may feel overwhelmed by work, parenting, relationships, or the emotional challenges of living between cultures and identities after immigration. At times, you may long to reconnect with your authentic self while feeling trapped by pressure, self-criticism, or regret.

I know that it's not easy to reach out for counselling and therapeutic support when life feels overwhelming and difficult in some or in many areas. This is why I work with individuals, couples and families in a spirit of profound respect and compassion at all stages of the therapeutic process. My approach to helping clients in therapy is to create an emotionally warm and accepting space where we can explore what difficulties you are encountering, what goals you hope to achieve and what resources and strengths are at your disposal that you may have forgotten or not be aware of.

Lasting change starts with a safe, judgment-free space—essential for adults whose ADHD is too often misread as laziness. It’s not the task itself but the starting that feels impossible, weighed down by shame or fear of failing. Maybe you’ve been told “stop procrastinating” or “just be disciplined” so often it became your own inner voice. Sometimes the only way to get things done is through panic, only to end up drained. My approach draws from CBT and DBT principles to support clients in understanding their patterns and practicing strategies that encourage clarity and follow-through

Growth starts from understanding yourself. You may be used to holding everything together, yet feel anxious, low, overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of what comes next. Therapy can be a safe place to slow down and make sense of what feels difficult. I support individuals with anxiety, low mood, grief, self-doubt, burnout, and life transitions; first-generation and immigrant clients navigating identity, belonging, and family expectations; and couples facing conflict, disconnection, or trust concerns. I hope to offer a warm, safe space where you can be yourself, explore what is hard to say out loud, and feel seen as a whole person.

Have you ever been told that you are "too much"? Does it feel like a constant internal conflict or battle within yourself? Do you constantly feel the need to move and struggle to sit still? Have you felt alone in a room full of people or even while you are in a relationship? If you have answered yes to any of this, these could be signs of attachment and/or trauma wounds.
