Life doesn’t come with instructions — and even strong, capable people can find themselves feeling anxious, disconnected, or quietly worn down. If you’re holding everything together on the outside but feeling overwhelmed, or unsure of yourself on the inside, you’re not failing — you’re human. At Myranda Ashley Counselling in Chatham, Ontario, I support adults and couples through life transitions that can shake your sense of identity, confidence, and connection. While our practice includes therapists who work with children and teens, my work focuses on adults — especially women navigating seasons of change.
I work with women experiencing anxiety, depression, self-esteem and self-worth concerns, infertility, pregnancy after loss, and the emotional weight of the perinatal period. I also support women navigating perimenopause and menopause, parenting shifts, relationship dissatisfaction, separation, and divorce.
Many of my clients are insightful, caring, and deeply committed — yet feel resentful, unseen, or emotionally exhausted. My approach is warm, honest, and direct. I’m attachment-based and trauma-informed, drawing from CBT, DBT, mindfulness, grief-informed care, and the Gottman Method for couples.
