I am a clinical social worker with over twenty years of experience that can help you examine how you feel, explore underlying issues and relationships that may be involved in the difficulties or issues you are facing. I provide a strength based approach to therapy, which means I help to identify inherent skills and capacities that are present for you to grow. I offer individual, couples and group therapy.
I specialize in mental health, addiction recovery and aftercare, relationship difficulties, and trauma recovery. I have specialised training in trauma stress studies/attachment related issues. I often help people build healthy relationships, manage stress and/or anxiety and deal with difficulties. I can help improve your wellbeing and deal with what's holding you back.
I honestly enjoy working with my clients to provide an authentic and compassionate counselling experience that is insightful and supportive. I use an integrated treatment approach using CBT, DBT, mindfulness practice, interpersonal and couples counselling, trauma specific interventions, along with addiction recovery.
