I believe that therapy should always be a place where we find unconditional acceptance, are held in a positive light, regularly gain insights, and can voice our thoughts and feelings without fearing criticism or shame. I have diverse experience supporting individuals and couples with depression, anxiety, struggles with career and life path, relationship challenges, trauma histories, and issues of identity and self-worth. I have also provided ketamine-assisted psychotherapy to Ontario clients struggling with depression, PTSD, and anxiety, and am committed to integrative and innovative approaches to best support clients.
I am here to help you to identify your goals and needs, to cultivate greater self-compassion, and to develop tools to find balance and cope with difficulties with emotions, thought patterns, and relationships. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for individuals, couples and families, and draw from mindfulness and somatic-based approaches in my work.
Additionally, I have apprenticed in traditional indigenous healing with plant medicines in the Peruvian Amazon for many years and I am also a long-term practitioner of yoga and meditation. These experiences have provided me with a rich respect for each person’s healing journey and a genuine appreciation for being invited to support you on your paths.
