90% of Canadians suffer with poor body image, which speaks to our cultural focus on body image and weight. This norm of shaming our natural body sizes diverts us from valuing our authentic selves and sits on the continuum that can lead to eating disorder behaviours. As an experienced eating disorder specialist, dispelling the myths and spreading the message that recovery from an eating disorder is possible is paramount. My humanist, strengths based and experiential approach meets you where you are at currently and I work from a team based approach. My experience also includes depression, anxiety, trauma and addiction.

For the past 10 years, I have specialized in treating those diagnosed with eating disorders. Depression, anxiety, addiction and trauma typically accompany disordered eating/eating disorders and are also addressed in sessions.

I have 7 years experience working with active duty and retired Canadian Armed Forces personnel and work from a cognitive and experiential trauma treatment focus. My 15 years of clinical work includes government, non-profit and private practice work.
