About
My ideal client is someone who is willing to explore their needs and learn alongside me. I do not claim to know all the answers to all of life's questions, but I do have an advanced set of skills that can guide our path to what those answers could be. Through providing comprehensive psychological assessment and counselling services for children, youth, and adults, I enjoy getting to know my clients, unearthing their unique strengths and needs, and supporting them through all of life's exciting and stressful events.
I take an evidence-based approach to supporting my clients and meeting their unique goals. This means that everything I suggest, or recommend, comes with a scientific backing and you can rest assured that you are in good hands. These services can be offered virtually or in-person depending on whatever is easiest for you.
On a personal level, I grew up in rural Nova Scotia, probably say "sir," "dear," and "buddy" too much, am an avid curler, and enjoy being around animals. I play the guitar, listen to music that is often too loud, and believe (in an alternative reality) that I would have probably wound-up being a DJ.
