I am a registered social worker with over 10 years of experience providing support to youth (ages 10+), young adults, and adults. I hold a specialty in working with 2SLGBTQ+ people to explore their identity, confront barriers to living authentically, envision their futures, as well as for their family members looking to better understand their 2SLGBTQ+ family member. I'm open to working with people from any community and all identities. I am supportive and informed on ace spectrum identities, polyamory, and intersex experiences. I offer creative ways to process experiences and emotions, sometimes using art, music, play, and history.
I work to create an environment for collaborative and client-focused support, utilizing strengths-based, anti-oppressive practices. I do this by looking at how we tell stories of our lives, making space for complex feelings sitting together, and understanding the link between thoughts, feelings, and behaviours.
I see clients between Monday – Thursday between 9:30 am - 5 pm, Fridays 9:30 am - 2:30 pm and Saturday mornings. I reserve 4-5 pm weekdays and Saturday mornings for youth clients. I collaborate with my clients to set goals, move through life transitions, and create a grounding space for regular check ins. I'd love to chat to see if I'm a good fit.
