I understand how difficult it can be to feel confined by troubling feelings, fear, and temptation to cope in problematic ways. I believe talking about struggles in therapy and working toward self-defined goals in a compassionate environment can foster balance, self-acceptance, and empowerment.
I specialize in addiction and self-destructive behaviours and also work with issues such as trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, shame, emotional overwhelm/dysregulation, and relationship challenges. I integrate various treatment modalities to inform my practice and use a warm and respectful approach, tailored to meet my individual client's wellness needs.
I highly prioritize empathy and non-judgement in the therapy environment and I work to build a collaborative therapeutic relationship with all clients. I'm understanding of challenges and I strongly encourage self-care and compassion while providing a safe environment for clients to heal the wounds that affect them day-to-day.
