My practice includes children, adolescents, couples and adults and I work collaboratively with their parents and families to form client centered and evidenced based solutions. My focus is on helping young people and adults to overcome obstacles and to learn the coping skills that they need to succeed. I work with a range of issues including eating disorders, trauma, compassion fatigue, PTSD, anxiety and depression.
I offer a compassionate, emphatic, non-judgmental, approach. Some of the treatment techniques that I draw on include Family Based Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy and a variety of Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, Systemic therapy, Strength Based and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy.
I believe that life is a journey with its ups and downs but with the right support system, life can be easier to navigate for smoother sailing. I empower my clients to connect to their own inner strengths and help them develop better techniques to navigate a life of resiliency, new hope and meaning.
