About
You’re scrolling through Psych Today deciding which one of us will help you feel better. What a daunting task! The good news is that there is a scale called Readiness to Change and if you are on this site, you are likely at the preparation stage. That’s halfway through the 5 stages. You’re already making moves towards the Upping Effect! The Upping Effect is explained fully on my website if you want to peruse through the ‘about me’ section, but for the nuts and bolts of the UE (requiring much less commitment than clicking on a website) it’s this: we can update your exhausted-not-working-anymore-views on the tough stuff in life.
I offer 50-minute individual ($130+HST) or couple's sessions ($185+HST) both are offered in-person & virtually. If you want to try CBT independently I offer a 45-minute psychoeducational session to get you started. I'll also email you worksheets so you can keep track of all the progress you've made. The fee is $100.00+HST.
If you're still reading my profile you should really check out my website. It's easy to navigate and will give you an idea of what counselling is about and how it might help you. It also has my qualifications listed.
