I am a registered psychotherapist with an integrative approach. My counseling considers all aspects of health: mind, body, and spirit. I believe in the inherent dignity and strength of the human person. I draw on these to help you manage your challenges and transitions, and to find new balance and purpose in life. I worked at CMHAWW, where I specialized in Dialectical Behaviour Therapy. I have also worked in the addictions programs at St. Michael's Hospital and Humber River Hospital, where I specialized in concurrent disorders.
I use a client-centered approach. I work with major psychiatric disorders, trauma, emotion regulation, substance use, depression, anxiety, life transitions, relationship and work-related stress, illness and grief. I use Mindfulness and also integrate CBT, DBT, EMDR and MI. My focus is to help you forge your own path to healing and to reaching your goals.
I would be honored to accompany you on your journey as you strive to solve the changes or crisis that you may be facing, or simply manage life's stressors. I provide online sessions throughout the week after 5:00 pm. I can also accomodate Saturday morning online sessions, if needed.
