My focus involves providing virtual treatment to individuals, couples, and families coping with and recovering from traumatic events. My door is open to anyone who wants to understand themselves in a deeper way to live a more fruitful and fulfilling life. I have extensive clinical experience working with culturally diverse people coping with emotional difficulties from trauma, blending families, and immigration, among other life stressors. I have unique insight into the impact of cancer on individuals and families. Finally, I have specialized competency and a strong passion serving frontline and healthcare workers.
I have practiced in Minnesota, California, Oregon, Alberta, and Ontario. I completed a Marriage and Family Therapy Masters prior to obtaining a Doctorate in Psychology. I carry my diverse training and varied experiences into each session. I work to foster a sense of emotional safety to help you understand your defenses and how they may obstruct your outlook.
My treatment approach is highly relational and I work to facilitate self-awareness and change with individuals and families through empathy, trust, and compassion.
