Are you struggling with feelings of guilt and shame due to trauma? My speciality is to examine and work through those feelings to decrease and eliminate those feelings to increase your self-confidence. Many people feel "stuck" due to past trauma and my goal is to change that so that you are flourishing. I am a Registered Psychotherapist who serves all of Canada (except Quebec). I work with individuals who are experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, adults and children diagnosed with ADHD. Understanding the barriers in a person’s life, and previous trauma, can help identify present day triggers and daily struggles.
The approach I use is trauma focused Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), attachment based Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for complex trauma.
Many clients come to me because of low self-confidence due to past trauma which they are a victim to but do not understand why they have the feelings of guilt and shame. I help you work through these emotions by confronting the trauma to help you process what has happened to help you grow and flourish for your future.
