Throughout our life we encounter many transitions, changes and opportunities for growth and movement. At times we can find ourselves becoming stuck, sometimes repeatedly. Therapy is about change and becoming unstuck by leaning into the discomfort. I believe we innately lean towards wellbeing and at times we require the support of another to meet that discomfort. I look forward to the opportunity to develop a therapeutic relationship with you and work alongside you on your personal journey.
I have worked in the trauma field for many years and have trained service providers throughout the country on trauma informed care for several years. I work systemically, with a focus on emotions and relationships and work somatically (paying attention to the body).
I have training in EMDR and I also enjoy working with art, and other experiential activities beyond solely talk therapy.
