There are many reasons for seeking therapy. Lived experiences of stress, loss, trauma, and overwhelm are among the reasons people reach out for help. I am interested in body-centered and psychological foundations of emotional, mental, and physical health. I work with people whose lives are affected by trauma and loss, anxiety, early childhood attachment disturbances, emotional injuries, mental health difficulties, and learning disabilities.
In my practice I integrate psychological and somatic approaches to psychotherapy. Somatic approaches are body-centered in that they are guided by understandings of body and nervous system functioning. This involves an appreciation of the physiology of threat and of safety.
Please feel free to reach out via the contact form on my website to ask a question, request a call back, or schedule a no-fee meet and greet consult. I value meeting people where they are at in life and in their healing process and working together with an accepting and non-judgmental attitude.
