Welcome. I have over 25 years experience working with children, teens, and adults dealing with generalized and social anxiety, mood, ocd, perfectionism, self-doubt, body image, relationship and parenting challenges, burnout and navigating narcissistic relationships. My approach is focused on creating a warm, safe space for clients to be able to share and process their feelings. Working from an attachment lens, I use a combination of insight psychotherapy, CBT, ACT, and self-compassion techniques to help clients change unhelpful beliefs, thoughts, and feelings into more helpful ways of being.
I help clients identify and develop mental and emotional strategies to empower them to move forward in a different way. I have extensive training and certification in the following approaches: CBT, ACT, DBT, Exposure Response Prevention and SPACE- a Parent -Based Therapy to treat child anxiety.
I use an action-based and collaborative approach that helps clients recognize their strengths and create solutions to life's challenges. I am deeply committed to helping people achieve their goals, conquer their fears and create lasting change outside of the counselling office.
