About
Michelle is a Registered Psychologist who obtained her Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology from the University of Calgary. She has over seventeen years of experience as a special education teacher and school psychologist, has worked in several school boards within Alberta, and has served on various province-wide committees with a focus on mental health initiatives. Michelle uses a collaborative, strength-based approach when working with youth, their families, and various support systems to complete psychological assessments and provide counselling.
She has extensive training and experience in the areas of self-esteem, stress management, specific learning disorders, giftedness, obsessive-compulsive disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, and depression. Michelle also has a specific interest in supporting youth in the LGBTQ2S+ communities.
Michelle lives in British Columbia and she is also a Canada Soccer C License certified coach and passionate Manchester United Football Club supporter.
