Hi! I’m Dr. Michelle. I have a PhD in Counselling Psychology from the University of Calgary and am a Registered Psychologist in Alberta. I completed my residency in Los Angeles, California where I supervised doctoral students in addition to providing psychotherapy. In my practice I work with people managing: depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and chronic health conditions. I also provide couple therapy and address the cross-over between individual health conditions in relationships.
Whether you are looking for support with a specific mental health issue or cope with a chronic health condition (e.g., weight issues, IBS, or chronic fatigue), I have you covered. I take a client centred approach in therapy, meaning you and I work as a team.
Who you trust to be vulnerable with is incredibly important. But, you need more than a safe person to talk to. My goal is to provide a safe place for you to share your biggest challenges and assist you in improving your well-being. I know personally the struggle of chronic health issues, and overcoming them with support. I want to be that support for you.
