Seeking support can be challenging. It can feel scary to explore truths, reflect on hard feelings, and create change. Together, we will build a collaborative therapeutic relationship to gain insight into your life, and allow difficult experiences and patterns to emerge. During sessions, we will experiment with new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating that will ultimately deepen your understanding of yourself, identify barriers to change, and increase insight about these issues.
My approach is strengths-based, direct and relational. I use a variety of modalities specific to each client and their treatment goals. Some of these modalities include using elements of cognitive behaviour therapy, systemic therapy and mindfulness during our sessions.
I work with adults from diverse backgrounds and cultures and have special interest in: college and university students, anxiety, life cycle changes and transitions. I am so excited to meet you and get started with you on your journey!
