Hi there! My name is Michaela and I am so happy to "meet" you. I am a graduate of the MSW program at the University of Windsor I also hold an Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology I have 5 years of experience supporting families and their children through psychiatric concerns. I believe therapy is a collaborative approach built on trust, empathy, and respect. I strive to tailor my approach to fit your needs best and ensure that you are receiving the support you require through life's challenges.
I have spent the last 5 years working in acute inpatient psychiatric care for children and youth ages 5-17 and feel that I have a good grasp on some of the most pressing issues youth are currently facing. I also continue to serve adult clients and believe having a safe space to express oneself is paramount to healing.
I firmly believe that compassion, mutual respect, and empathy are the cornerstones of any relationship and this includes the therapeutic one! I strive to work to meet your goals and truly provide a laid-back environment to fully express yourself.
