Hi, my name is Michael and I have been practicing and teaching relational psychotherapy in the Annex area of Toronto for over 10 years. Over the years I have had clients presenting a variety of issues, from anxiety and depression to relationship/marriage challenges, big life transitions, to dying, death and grieving. As a relational psychotherapist I am open to exploring with an open mind and open heart whatever issues you choose to bring to therapy with the hope of bringing a deeper emotional awareness to your experience.
I offer an approach that is client-centred and empathy based. At the heart of the relational approach is the awareness that emotions are what connect us to others. Life trauma can interrupt our capacity for connection. Building awareness of how this works in our life can help heal and build back our capacity for connection.
