Life can throw challenges our way that feel overwhelming and unmanageable. Coming to a realization that we could use help, and seeking a therapist are big steps. The therapeutic relationship offers a unique space to look at and discuss deeply personal content in a safe, non-judgmental environment. It can feel like a big risk to open up about our struggles. I encourage anyone seeking therapy to search for a therapist that they feel comfortable with. I believe it is my job to foster trust and safety so that we can work through difficult feelings. From my perspective, there is no definitive ranking of problems.

What may seem like a small problem to one may leave another feeling stuck and unable to move forward. I walk alongside my clients through difficult terrain. I believe that people, like all living things, are inherently driven to thrive and grow. When given the right conditions, we are capable of making meaningful changes and achieving our fullest potential.

I use an eclectic, integrative approach, which is collaboratively adapted to the specific wants and needs of each individual. We will look at important recurring themes, co-creating meaning, and insights. Genuine interest, compassion, and empathy are the foundation of supportive counselling. We will work together to identify and prioritize your goals.
