Do you find yourself avoiding certain situations, places, or people? You may feel like you’ve designed your life in a way that keeps you ‘safe’—but realize that you’re actually feeling ‘stuck’. With over 11 years of experience as a therapist and lecturer, in both the UK and Canada, I can help you begin to dismantle the hold trauma, anxiety or depression have had on your life. As a Black male therapist, I bring my lived experience to my practice, specializing in racial trauma, racial identity, and Black masculinity. Together we can help you begin to embrace a life that feels empowered and aligned with your values and goals.
With me, you’ll find a safe and comfortable space where we’ll collect information about what is concerning you, recognize your triggers, and develop a plan for how to engage with them when they appear. Using techniques such as EMDR and movement therapy, we can begin to turn the key on the lock of what is holding you back.
It’s time to begin designing a new way of engaging with the world. Together we can unlock what is keeping you stuck and empower you to move forward with greater confidence and clarity. I offer online individual counselling and am also available for in-person group settings. I invite you to book an appointment with me and look forward to getting started.
