About
I offer a safe, non-judgmental and confidential space for you to make sense of the issues you may be facing right now. I understand that we all cope in various ways and experience a range of emotions: anxiety, stress, grief, loss, depression, anger, confusion. We work together to find healthy ways of coping so that you can find solutions that help you move forward towards your vision of a fulfilling life. Our work together will be tailored to your needs and goals.
In our work together, we will draw on a number of approaches that combine talk therapy and creative expression. My techniques bring together the best tools from a variety of therapeutic models: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Narrative Therapy, or Solution focused Therapy.
As a counsellor and social worker, I have experience working with a wide range of complex situations, including grief and loss, mental health issues, trauma (physical, sexual, emotional), gender issues and supporting partners/families of LGBTQ2 individuals
