I offer a blend of compassion and life experience to my practice. I have been a mom for 22 years and married for 25 years, which has created an understanding of the complexities of family life and the challenges we face at different stages. Having navigated my own unique ups and downs, I strive to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their own experiences and uncover their strengths.
I have a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of Alberta and a Master’s degree in counselling psychology from Athabasca University.
I have had the privilege of supporting children, youth, adults, couples, and families in both community and private practice settings. Therapeutic experiences include the support of adult life transitions, parenting, grief, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationships. Music-integrated and therapy from a Christian perspective are available upon request.
I am an EMDR trained therapist, with additional training in recent events and complex PTSD. I have training in trauma-focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, emotionally focused therapy, emotion focused family therapy, & Gottman approach for couples. In 2025, I completed an ACT intensive, Trauma Treatment Certification, and an ADHD certification training.
