Therapy in itself can be overwhelming, especially when you're struggling, so I aim to create a comfortable and safe environment for my clients. I encourage a collaborative therapeutic approach by meeting you where you are at and using evidence-based practices to help support you towards your goals.
I mainly work with adults who struggle with emotional dysregulation, intense emotions, ADHD, BPD, trauma, and anxiety to help improve overall functioning and relationships.
I operate from a person-centered approach, which emphasizes that you are the expert of yourself. As your therapist, my role is to guide you towards your counselling goals in a way that feels right for you. My trauma-informed practice uses elements of DBT (dialectical behavior therapy) and CBT (cognitive-behavioral therapy).
Asking for help can be really tough and overwhelming - and you've already made it this far. Feel free to reach out with any questions or book a free intake call to give us an opportunity to chat and see whether I can help with what you're going through.
