Hi, I’m Meghan and I believe that counselling is a collaborative undertaking focused on empowering individuals to make the best choices for themselves to find their best wellbeing. I work to help alleviating the weight of shame that we carry and highlight the strength that it took you to get to the place you are at today. We can be struggling with the challenges of daily life, big transitions, unmet expectations, difficult relationships, and past trauma.
We can be struggling with difficult relationships, past trauma, anxiety, people pleasing, having a hard time setting boundaries and saying no. You might be using coping methods that aren’t as effective as they once were. I also work with many parents during pregnancy and beyond to help them show up as their best self for themselves and their children.
I use a strength-based, trauma-informed approach that draws from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Attachment Theory. I always strive to provide a culturally sensitive space inclusive of all individuals and relationships. I am passionate about creating a safe place to explore.
