Hi my name is Megan and I am a Counselling Therapist in PEI. I have a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. I then pursued a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. I picked this profession because I saw the need for more mental health professionals on the Island and I wanted to help fill the gap.
I know taking the first step to reach out can be terrifying and I want to support you as you take your next steps. I take the approach that you are the expert on your life and I possess the education to help you in your mental health journey. I consider counselling a team effort and I am looking forward to having a new team member
My business partner and I opened MacLeod and Peters Counselling in May of 2022 on North River Rd. My primary focus in my practice is ADHD, trauma, depression and anxiety. I also have experience working with people with OCD, and high functioning autism.
