I work effectively and comfortably with anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use and addiction, and general life stressors including transitions, grief and relationship breakdowns. I also offer care to family members who are supporting a loved one through any of the above. My practice offers individual counselling through virtual sessions. I am well trained, confident and compassionate with my clients. Session fees are $165 for individual sessions. I can direct bill insurance claims with Greenshield, and provide all appropriate documentation for clients to submit to other companies.
I am able to help clients identify core issues, and provide information and treatment to feel better. I tend to be more solution focused - replacing unhealthy coping strategies with positive and effective ones. I work with concrete goals to be able to evaluate your treatment plan, and more abstract outcomes like building self esteem, and reducing self hate.
While therapy is a serious process, I believe that it can still be enjoyable. I have a friendly and approachable manner where my personality is present in each session. I would love to chat and see if my approach is the right fit to help you improve your circumstances.
I hold evening hours on Thursdays, as well as Saturday mornings.
