I am passionate about helping my clients develop a heathier self-relationship. Throughout our lives we can accumulate shame and fear, and dismiss emotions and experiences that are challenging to look at. This dismissal of the self can cause inner turmoil, emotional dysregulation, and may keep us feeling stuck in old patterns. I create a safe space for my clients to sit with and process their emotional experiences so that they may live more wholeheartedly, show up for themselves, and show up more fully in their relationships.
With my support, clients may: build on emotional awareness, intelligence and agility, revisit and validate challenging emotional experiences, begin to nurture and relate to the self in a new way, integrate parts of self that were previously dismissed, and explore values and what a meaningful life means to them.
My approach to therapy is person-centered, emotionally-focused, strengths based, and informed by internal family systems. I am a master's level Art Therapist and am also skilled in integrating the creative process into the therapeutic journey as a tool for self-exploration, emotional regulation, and reflection.
