My aim is to help folks get to the bottom of their concerns, and to support them in making meaningful changes in their lives. Sometimes we have the sense that something is not quite right, even if we cannot pinpoint what exactly it is. Other times we may want to get out of our heads and feel more present. Whatever your concern, I am here to support you in discerning what it is that’s in the way from allowing you to live the life you want to live. Together, you and I will work to identify and unpack your lived experiences and the values that inform where it is you want to go.

My goal is to provide a non-judgemental, caring and respectful environment for you to address your concerns. My main area of expertise is helping people who are engaging in behaviours to excess, whether that be your relationship with food, alcohol, pornography, or other drugs. I can help with binge eating, bulimia or diabetes management. I also practice in the area of sex therapy and can help with concerns such as low sexual desire, erectile dysfunction, premature ejaculation, navigating open relationships, sexual pain, and sexual identity, among many other areas.

Whether sex is the main concern, or a part of a larger relationship issue, I aim to create a space where clients feel safe, respected, and comfortable to openly explore their sexual and intimate relationships.
Not "in the mood" for sex? Missing that sexual spark? Wanting to feel more passionately and intimately connected to your partner? When sex is dissatisfying, painful, or feels like a "chore," the problems don't tend to stay contained to the bedroom. We can internalize our concerns in the form of shame, stress, worry, and self-blame. We may criticize our partner and shut them out physically and emotionally. We might even doubt or question the quality, and even the future, of our romantic relationships. But when sex is mutually satisfying, enjoyable, and pleasurable, our romantic relationships are able to flourish and thrive.

Seeking therapy is a sign of a personal strength, not a weakness. It takes awareness in our lives and courage to be able to reach out for help. Often people who engage in therapy are actually doing well in life but would like to do better in one area or another. I believe that the client is the expert on them and it is my role to support them to reach the goals that they set. Now excepting virtual clients in British Columbia.
