I support individuals navigating life transitions and concerns such as anxiety, depression, parenting, pregnancy and perinatal experiences, trauma, grief, and loss.
My approach is trauma-informed and attachment-based, grounded in the understanding that our early relationships and lived experiences influence how we see ourselves, relate to others, and move through the world. Together, we slow things down and make space for what's what’s been held inside. I see my role as offering presence, curiosity, and guidance.

Grief can occur after the death of a loved one, and also with the end of a relationship, the end of a job, the death of a pet, the loss of future hopes and dreams, loss of a pregnancy, loss of structure and more.
My door is open, come find your space to be human. I’ve been there: feeling fundamentally changed by parenthood, unhinged by a history of trauma that twists and impacts your relationships, and sitting with the gut-wrenching grief of feeling lost in your own self-identity. Because of this, my goal is simple: to create a space where you can finally feel like you matter and that it’s completely okay to explore the messiness of being human. I’m Cady, a therapist, a mother, a creative, and, most importantly, a messy human just navigating life, right alongside you.

As well, working with individuals who have experienced pregnancy loss and infertility.
Therapy is an opportunity to look at self and understand more about your life. At times, we encounter things that feel overwhelming or unbearable and therapy allows you to have the opportunity to have someone to support you in this struggle. My belief is that the therapeutic relationship allows a person to move through these times with more ease by having someone at your side to face these difficulties.

I work primarily with women navigating trauma, relational wounds, and attachment patterns who want to develop a stronger and more authentic relationship with themselves. In today's world, many women experience a deep disconnection from their bodies, their needs and their voice. I offer a grounded, supportive space to help you connect with your inner sense of wisdom. My work integrates a systems lens, recognizing how culture, relationships, trauma and gender norms have shaped the way we live our lives. I support clients in navigating not only personal challenges, but also the unspoken grief, losses and relational wounds

What are the most effective ways to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns?
The most effective way to address pregnancy, prenatal, and postpartum concerns is by finding a therapist who has prior experience helping other patients overcome the challenge being faced. For example, a marriage and family therapist may have experience helping couples adjust to their new relationship dynamic. An anxiety specialist may have experience helping with phobias or illness anxiety related to the child’s health. A depression specialist may have experience treating postpartum depression.
When should I seek treatment for prenatal or postpartum concerns?
Pregnancy and the postpartum period involve intense physical and mental changes; a degree of upset and instability is normal. However, if these changes impair daily functioning, it may be time to seek help. This distinction is pertinent for postpartum depression: A period of teariness, irritability, and distress is difficult but normal in the one to two weeks after childbirth (sometimes called the “baby blues.”) But if feelings of sadness and hopelessness persist beyond that period, the person should seek treatment.
How do I manage worries during pregnancy or the postnatal period?
A therapist can help patients develop the tools they need to manage anxieties during or after pregnancy. Cognitive behavioural therapy can help people identify and reframe harmful patterns of thought, and change their behaviours. Other techniques and skills can allow people to develop acceptance, psychological flexibility, self-compassion, communication skills, and more.
