My goal is to foster a supportive and inclusive space to build a collaborative therapeutic relationship where together we can explore the issues you wish to consult about . Some of life's challenges can create dominant stories that can overshadow other, more preferred stories in life. Therapy is a place to explore the whole of who you are, where you come from and how life's challenges are constructed and impact life. I believe that exploring power relations and social justice are appropriate conversations in the therapy room. I draw upon trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, social-spiritual and anti-colonial frameworks.

Positive Kids is a provider of holistic ADHD treatment for children and their families. We are the creators of a unique model called "LEPS." Our model tackles the complications associated with ADHD with a very high success rate. The acronym stands for LEARNING, EMOTIONAL, PARENTING, SOCIAL skills. We begin by assessing your child’s ADHD symptoms before we go into a more in-depth discovery of what your child’s individual needs are. Once we have determined the initial requirements, we set up a schedule for you & your child, breaking down each part of the program.

I am experienced in working with individuals, couples and families. I am very passionate about working with couples. I believe that quality work comes from a good therapeutic relationship, a good connection with the client, when therapy is done from a place of curiosity and respect and meeting clients where they are at emotionally. Therapy can be for anyone, whether your goal is to heal from a toxic relationship, become more self-aware, overcome self-doubt, learn to set healthy boundaries, or connect with your partner or other family members.
Sometimes life can be challenging in many ways such as in health, work, finances, relationships and so on. These life challenges can be overwhelming and difficult to navigate, sometimes can lead into a variety of life controlling behaviours such as addiction, depression, fear, anxiety and many others. My goal is to create an atmosphere of safety, warmth, and respect that supports people to courageously tell their story, face difficult emotions, learn new ways of coping, repair relationships, transform the impact of trauma, and move toward the change they seek to make in their lives.
