Welcome, my name is Jessica Pacheco, the owner of Maywood Counselling. I believe that counselling is a collaborative partnership between a client and their therapist. This is why I practice from a client centered framework. I recognize that we all have lived experience, our brain and body connect to keep us safe. This is where we can develop harmful thought patterns, behaviours, or maladaptive coping skills which make functioning more of a challenge or leave us feeling stuck.

As a mental health therapist with a deep commitment to fostering emotional well-being, I have dedicated my career to helping individuals navigate the complexities of their mental health. My niche being Trauma, anxiety, and depression. Also working in other areas of life such as; relational conflict, communication, boundary setting, and emotion regulation.

By creating a non-judgmental environment, my goal is to empower clients to gain insight into their thoughts and behaviours, helping them develop effective coping strategies that promote resilience & personal growth.
