Thank you for taking a moment to consider me as a potential counsellor. I recognize that it can often be a challenging step to initially seek out counselling, and then to determine with whom you want to share your stories.
I am a Canadian Certified Counsellor and Art Therapist working in the field for over ten years with clients of all ages, in education, family, and senior settings. I work from a trauma-informed, strength-based, affirming approach, and above all value collaboration.
I work with a range of issues, including anxiety, depression, grief/loss, identity and life transitions. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches including CBT Mindfulness, somatic/body-focused therapy, emotional regulation, Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and art-based. We will work together to determine best fit.
