Hello! I’m Max, I’m a counsellor with a generalist focus who works from an existential lens. Your mental health is important to me, and I want for us to work together to help you experience relief from what’s bothering you and clarity about your life. The way I work is by first teaching coping strategies to help you regulate in the present, then to explore the deeper emotional and existential basis for what brings you to counselling in the first place.
The basis of my practice is in existential therapy, which aims to look at how big concerns like purpose in life contribute to your day-to-day mental health. My aim is to work from a trauma informed lens, meaning that when we decide to address your trauma, we do so in a way which is supportive and work together to not trigger you in session.
If you think we might be a good fit, shoot me an email and I would be happy to set up a free consultation so that we can get to know each other. Take care, I look forward to potentially hearing from you!
