Counselling is a tool all people can benefit from whether you are seeking clarity in your life, hoping to understand yourself better, navigating a challenging transition, or feeling stuck. I can also help you overcome impulsive behaviours by teaching you skills to cope with overwhelming thoughts and emotions. If you are having problems in relationships, I can support you to find new ways to communicate or with developing healthier boundaries. Stress, burnout, and low mood are also common issues that I can provide guidance on managing.
Holding space while being respectful, genuine, warm, authentic and curious, helps me to create safety within the counselling relationship. Through therapeutic conversations, my clients experience a supported opportunity to self-discover and uncover strengths as they shift, change, grow, and heal.
I operate with an overarching belief that we are all doing the best we can, with the skills and resources we have at the time. In that sense, if you choose to meet with me, you will see how I encourage self-compassion as a strategy to move through guilt and shame that keeps up stuck.
