Are you struggling with life's challenges? Dealing with chronic stress or traumatic experience? Have you faced a loss of some kind through death, divorce or the loss of a job/retirement and having difficulties coping? Perhaps you are questioning life, want a change but don't know what or how to create it? Our counselling therapists, Kandice Wynia and Laura Lucas, are here to support and help. We will encourage you to recognize your own strengths and resources and empower you to take care of your own needs in a healthy way.
We are Registered Professional Counsellors with CPCA and Counselling Therapists with the ACTA. Together, we have over 30 years of experience working with children, youth, individuals and families. We offer sessions for trauma therapy, grief/loss, couples/relationship counselling, family/parenting challenges and counselling for children/youth ages 8-17.
We work from a client-centered approach and believe that for change to occur there must be a genuine, non-judgmental relationship between the client and the counselor. Drawing on a number of different modalities including CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused and trauma-informed interventions, our goal is to help you develop healthier well being.
